MASSAGE TLC & WELLNESS

Why I Founded Massage TLC & Wellness

Massage TLC Massage SuiteI founded Massage TLC & Wellness in 2010 with the goal of providing every client with the very best in medical massage, therapeutic massage, and relaxing massage in a friendly, yet professional atmosphere—while offering personalized care enhanced by key features not found elsewhere.

As an Advanced EFT Practitioner and a Licensed Massage Therapist with training in a wealth of therapeutic techniques, it is my greatest joy to see clients who arrive with a high level of stress and pain leaving totally stress free and pain free.

If you have never visited Massage TLC, you can see what my clients are saying on my Reviews page—and I would love to have the opportunity of providing the same level of care for you at my warm and inviting facilities.

What is EFT?

Emotional Freedom TechniquesOne of the therapies I offer, in addition to massage, is Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT). EFT is a form of acupressure that focuses on some of the same energy meridians used in traditional acupuncture. Instead of using needles, simple tapping, massaging–or the use of gentle pressure with the fingertips–is used to input kinetic energy into key acupressure points.

EFT is a truly a revolutionary, safe, non-invasive technique that can successfully address stress, anger, anxiety, phobias, past traumas, grief, guilt, depression, panic, bodily pain, and long-term addictions. It does so by eliminating “locked-in” negative emotions that are causing both physical conditions and ongoing emotional trauma and stress in your life.

Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy® (AOBT)

Ashitasu Oriental Bar Therapy
Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy® (AOBT) is  an enhanced form of deep tissue massage that is sometimes called “barefoot massage.” Pressure is smoothly and evenly applied via the therapist’s feet (Ashiatsu means “foot pressure” in Japanese).

As a certified Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy practitioner I often use this technique to help provide clients relief from sciatica, chronic back pain, and tight or painful muscles.

There’s no need to be concerned about this type of therapy because you determine the amount of pressure to be applied–and you just might find Ashiatsu one of the most relaxing massages you’ve ever experienced.

Ashi-Thai (Stretching Massage)

Ashi-ThaiTM
(Stretching Massage) combines compressive techniques and passive stretches that relax your muscles while increasing your flexibility and range of motion. The technique is performed with you fully clothed, ideally in loose and flexible clothing (if you don’t have loose clothing we’ll provide you with a loose-fitting cotton outfit for the session)

As a certified Ashi-Thai(TM) practitioner, I often use this technique prior to traditional massage to melt away stress and tension and relieve pain–and like all of my other therapies, there is NO extra charge for this amazing and extremely relaxing technique.

Hot Stone Massage

Hot Stone Massage
The soothing warmth of water-heated stones help relax and release tight muscles and have a sedative effect on the nervous system. The increased circulation from the warmth the stones generate helps move oxygen and nutrients to the cells while increasing lymph flow, aiding in the removal of waste materials. All in all, a hot stone massage leaves you feeling deeply relaxed, allowing you to let go of built-up stresses.

Why get your hot stone massage at Massage TLC & Wellness?
At many other places in the DFW area you would pay up to $165.00 for a single hour of hot stone massage. That’s about twice what I charge for an hour of massage—and I include hot stones, along with other complimentary therapies upon request, at no extra cost with any hour or more massage.

So why not schedule an hour or more massage today–and simply let me know in advance (since they do take a little time to warm up) that you would like to enhance your massage with luxurious hot stones!
